Resumen:
Recognizing the limitations of solid-supported lipid bilayers to reproduce the behavior of cell membranes, we study a biomimetic system with the potential to overcome these limitations. In particular, we are developing strategies using a polyacrylamide hydrogel with tunable properties as soft support capable to interact with the Influenza virus. In this work, we present some advances using Quartz Crystal Microbalance with Dissipation monitoring (QCM-D), Fluorescence Microscopy among others which shows how is possible using a polyelectrolyte film as intermediate between the hydrogel and the lipids create a more realistic cell membrane model
